A quick, creamy homemade peda that's perfect for Raksha Bandhan.

  • 1 cup Param Milk Powder

  • Β½ cup milk

  • 3 tbsp sugar, powdered

  • 2 tbsp Param Cow Ghee

  • Β½ tsp cardamom powder

  • 8–10 chopped pistachios or almonds

  • A few saffron strands β€” optional

  1. Heat Param Cow Ghee in a non-stick pan on low flame.

  2. Add milk and gradually add Param Milk Powder, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

  3. Cook on low flame until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

  4. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder.

  5. Mix well and cook for another 2–3 minutes.

  6. Turn off the flame and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

  7. Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small pedas.

  8. Press a pistachio or almond into the centre of each peda.

  9. Add saffron strands for a festive touch.
